Hi, I am Sandra.
I am an ADHD mum of a child with ADHD and ASD and was only diagnosed at age 50. I run a monthly parent support group and a facebook page and support group to help other parents going through the challenges. My curiosity in those areas to help others and my child has lead to an extensive knowledge in those areas.
I always knew I was different but did not know why and so have always been passionate about self help and complementary healing methods and therapies and have tried many different modalities over the years and read hundreds of self help books.
I came across Havening at a wellbeing festival and was so amazed by the technique’s results and the science behind it that I decided to qualify! (sounds like that corny Razor advert!) I have a passion for helping people and empathy with others. I truly believe that Havening is what the world needs right now.
I had a wonderful trainer and have had some really astonishing results for people during my training. Friends and family of those I have helped are so impressed by the changes in them after just a few sessions that they have asked to see me too. I have worked with both children and adults all with great success as well as others with ADHD and/or ASD and they find my understanding and empathy refreshing.
Having experienced multiple traumatic events throughout my life and in my various roles having seen a deterioration in the nation’s mental health including that of children and young people I can understand and empathise with my clients and I am very passionate about helping others deal with life events, helping them to move forward and leave unwanted emotional attachments behind.
The other great thing about Havening is that it can be done via video call or in person (I am based in Sandhurst Berkshire) and improvements are usually very fast compared to many other modalities.
